We held our inaugural ‘Hockey Night In Leaside’ game this past Saturday night. It was terrific event, with many members of Leaside Girls Hockey Association and other members of the community coming out to support the U22 Elite Wildcats.
Notably, as part of our Leaside U22 Give Back initiative, we held our food drive in the week prior to the game. With the help of generous donors, we were able to fill many donation boxes with much needed food and supplies in support of the Thorncliffe Park Foodbank.
Thank you to all the members of the community who supported the team in its efforts to give back to the community.
Our next initiative will be supporting The Shoebox Project (https://www.shoeboxproject.com) through the month of December.
