This past weekend, in conjunction with TLGHA 50 th Season celebrations at Leaside Gardens, the Leaside U222 Elite team formally unveiled its brand-new dressing room.
In a ceremony attended by players, families, members of the community and our MPP
Stephanie Bowman, the team was able to thank a long list of generous sponsors and donors
who were instrumental in making the new room possible.
After the ribbon cutting, members of the U22 Elite Team gave tours of the room to young and
old. Among our guests was Kristin Della Rovere - alumna of the Leaside Junior program, Harvard University, and now a drafted by Ottawa of the PWHL.
Of note, many of Leaside’s youngest players got a chance to see what it would be like to play
Junior hockey at Leaside. We are proud to be able to help our youngest players see what they can be, as they look up to the members of the Junior team.
