Welcome Coach Izzy!

Isabella Thomson-Fiddes (Izzy) has joined our coaching staff as an Assistant Coach alongside Coach Remi. Last year Izzy served as Assistant Coach for the Leaside U18AA team for the 2024-25 season, under Coach James Roxborough. As well as having a B Sc. and an M.A., Izzy holds her High Performance 1 certification, and played on the St. Thomas women's hockey team for the 2020-21 season. Coaching successes include serving as an Assistant Coach for the Vancouver Island University Men’s Hockey team, helping them snag a BCIHL Championship win in the 2023-24 season. Izzy brings scouting and video and analytics expertise to the team with experience working for the Jr.A Campbell River Storm and the UBC Thunderbirds. Izzy also keeps busy as the Owner & Director of Operations for High Tide Hockey since 2024, an elite female hockey development program. Check out her work there on instagram @hightidehockey.
