I am a shutdown (R) defender who limits time and space from my opponents while successfully restricting scoring chances with my physicality, body positioning and hockey IQ. I am strong in front of the net and use my size and defensive positioning to get players out of the high slot. I am a team player who loves working with others and uses leadership skills to strengthen the culture and chemistry of my team. Offensively, I am always looking to make the right play. I initiate breakouts and make crisp and accurate outlet passes. My coaches see me as a trustworthy player who will make smart decisions on the ice.
